Accessibility promotes one of the essential principles of the website
- its universality
- given that it facilitates access by the handicapped, the elderly and, in general, all users.
- It allows access from different browsers, devices, etc.
- It leads to clearer, more structured content.
- It improves navigation and the user experience
To achieve these objectives the following standards have been applied:
- Code and presentation separation based on W3C standards: Valid XHTML 1.0 and CSS 2.1.
- Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) versión 1.0, published by W3C's Web Accessibility Initiative(WAI) at the Double A adaptation level; together with UNE regulation 139803:2004, as established by Spanish legislation in the sphere of Web Accessibility, in compliance with priorities 1 and 2.
